Leh (2 Nights)
Tour guests will arrive at Leh Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way into the city.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own at the first destination as per the information and guidance given by the Veena World Travel consultant.
J&L guests should book their to and fro air tickets as per the arrival and departure time of the scheduled tour flight to get the airport transfers with the group.
In case of early arrival or early departure the transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the J&L guests.
Today we have free time for acclimatization. In the evening we enjoy a short Meet & Greet session.
Leh
Today we visit Shey Palace – used to be the summer retreat of the royal family of Ladakh, Rancho School – also known as Druk White Lotus school, Further we visit Sindhu Ghat to view the Sindhu River – one of the longest rivers in Asia. Hall of Fame War Museum – a museum constructed by the Indian Army in memory of the brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland in the Indo-Pak wars. Later we have free time for shopping.
Leh – Khardung La Pass – Nubra Valley (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La – one of the world’s highest motorable pass. Nubra valley – the Shyok River meets the Siachen River to form this large valley separating the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges. Upon arrival we visit Maitreya Buddha – Perched on top of a monastery, it is the statue of Jampa Buddha, noted for its intricate carvings, brilliant craftsmanship and vivid colours. Later we visit Hunder Village and Cold desert – the only place in India where twin humped camels are found
Please note: Khardung La Pass is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. If you have pre-existing health issues, we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Thang – Nubra Valley
Today we proceed to Turtuk village which was first opened for the tourists in the year 2010, while visiting Turtuk we pass by Thoise Airport (Military Airfield), then we visit Turtuk wooden bridge and Shyok war memorial. Later we walk through Baltic village. Further we visit Thang village (Subject to operation)- Northern most last village at LOC. Here we take a photo stop at LOC point
Nubra Valley – Pangong Tso (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Pangong Tso, also known as Pangong Lake – one of the world’s highest saltwater lakes. The most notable feature of this lake are its ever-changing hues. The lake acts as an important breeding ground for a large variety of migratory birds like Brahmani Ducks, Rare black necked cranes and Seagulls.
Pangong Tso – Hanle (1 Night)
Today we head towards Hanle- a quaint village close to the Indo-China border. on the way we pass through the villages of Chumathang, Mahe, Nyoma, loma and Rhongo. Upon arrival we visit The Indian Astronomical Observatory- it is the world’s highest observatory, operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru. It is the best spot in the entire country for observing the skies and the stars.
Hanle – Tsomoriri (1 Night)
Today we head toward Tso Moriri – a lake in the Changthang region. Mighty mountains, snow-capped peaks, lush green fields and the deep blue water stretching to the horizon. This beautiful blue pallet lake is about 7 kms wide.
Tsomoriri – Puga Valley – Tsokar Lake – Taglangla pass – Leh (2 Nights)
Today we proceed back to Leh. On the way we stop by Puga Valley – this place shows evidence of geothermal activity in the form of hot springs, mud pools, sulphur and borax deposits. Further we visit Tsokar lake, also called white lake due to the white salt content in the water deposits on its shore. We then cross Tanglang La Pass- one of the incredible high altitude mountain passes in Ladakh and take in its incredible views. In the evening we arrive at Leh
Leh
Today we visit Hemis Gompa – a Himalayan Buddhist monastery which is believed to be the wealthiest and the biggest monastery in Leh and Photo stop at Thiksey monastery. In the evening, we enjoy the Folk dance show
Leh – Alchi – Lamayuru – Kargil (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Kargil via Fotu La Pass and Namki La pass. Kargil is known as the location of the Indo-Pakistani border war of 1999 En route we explore Sham Valley which includes Patthar Sahib Gurudwara – a beautiful Gurudwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, Magnetic Hill – also known as Gravity Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity, Sangam of the rivers Indus & Zanskar – two of Himalaya’s great rivers; Zanskar and Indus merge to form a spectacular view. Further we visit Alchi Gompa – known for its magnificent and well preserved 11th & 12th century wall paintings, Moon land – the land resembles that of moon, Lamayuru Monastery – one of the largest and oldest gompas in Ladakh. In the evening we arrive at Kargil
Kargil – Drass – Aryan Village (1 Night)
Today we proeed to Drass, here we visit Drass War Memorial, also known as Vijay Memorial – built in the memory of the martyr soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War. Then we visit Mulbekh Monastery. Later proceed to Aryan Village- Long long ago the great king Alexander came to the indus valley to conquer it. He spread his kingdom and went home but left behind few of his clansmen who settled in Ladakh. They are known as last Aryans and they still live on as the last Aryan village in India. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings
Aryan Village – Leh (1 Night)
Today we explore Aryan Valley (Dartsik – Garkhon Village), here we walk and Interact with the Drokpa and Brokpa tribes of Ladakh. Further we proceed to Leh.

Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time to start their journey back home.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. If these guests have flight timing and airport same as per the schedule group, they can avail the airport transfers with the group. If not then, any transfer charges to reach their respective airport, cruise, rail, or bus terminal will be borne by the J&L guests.

The best time to visit Ladakh is between May and September, when the weather is pleasant and roads are accessible.
You can take a flight from Bangalore to Leh (via Delhi). Alternatively, you can travel by train or road to Manali/Srinagar and then take a scenic road trip to Ladakh.
Ladakh is at a high altitude, so some travelers may experience acute mountain sickness (AMS). To prevent this, rest for a day upon arrival, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol.
