What To Expect

Day 1

Bangalore – Bhubaneswar(1 night).

Today we arrive in Bhubaneswar, the Temple City of India. We begin our heritage journey by visiting the iconic Lingaraj Temple, known for its grand Kalinga-style architecture. Later, explore the Mukteshwar Temple and Rajarani Temple, both masterpieces of ancient artistry. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk at Bindu Sagar Lake.

Day 2

Bhubaneswar – Udayagiri – Dhauli – Konark – Puri.(1 night).

After breakfast, we head to the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, ancient Jain rock-cut shelters with inscriptions and carvings. Then proceed to Dhauli Shanti Stupa, the serene site where Emperor Ashoka embraced peace and Buddhism. Later, visit the Sun Temple at Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and architectural marvel shaped like a chariot. Continue the journey to Puri.

Day 3

Puri – Chilika.(1 night).

Early morning, visit the revered Jagannath Temple (non-Hindus may view from outside). Later, take a scenic drive to Chilika Lake at Satapada — Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon — for a boat ride to spot Irrawaddy dolphins. Enjoy the sunset by the lake and return to Puri.

Day 4

We visit Raghurajpur, a heritage crafts village famous for Pattachitra paintings and traditional dance forms like Gotipua. Witness artists at work and shop for local souvenirs. Later, return to Bhubaneswar and enjoy local street food.

Day 5

Departure from Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, spend some leisure time or visit the Odisha State Museum or Ekamra Haat for local crafts. Transfer to the airport/railway station for your return journey to Bangalore with unforgettable memories of Odisha’s sacred, scenic, and cultural treasures.
