  • The accommodations at Asian Travel Agency accept several payment methods such as Cheque, Demand Draft, Debit Card, Credit Card, NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS. They impose a 1.8% convenience fee for Debit/Credit Card payments. A convenience fee amounting to 1.8% will be charged for all Debit and Credit Card transactions. Guests should issue payments through Cheques and Demand Drafts written to the name of “Asian Travel Agency.”

 

Payment Terms

  • Asian Travel Agency will supply all meals to guests when flights reach their destination during unscheduled times either early morning or late in the evening.
  • The cost of traveling determines according to Non resident Indian citizen and migrant participant status. Additional information about rates is available by contacting your assigned travel advisor.
  • The booking executive demands valid identification from NRIs and foreign nationals when booking their tour while they also need to present passport copies and complete their registration details.
  • All standard hotel operations in India function with 1:30 PM check-in beginnings and 10:00 AM check-out conclusions.

What To Expect

Day 1

Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (Approx. 93 kms, 3 hrs drive)

Arrive at Bagdogra airport and proceed to Darjeeling. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Arrive at Darjeeling and check into your hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 2

Darjeeling sightseeing

Early morning visit Tiger Hill (subject to availability) to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 3

Darjeeling – Mirik Lake

After breakfast, proceed for day trip to Mirik Lake. It is situated at 48 kms west of Darjeeling near Nepal border which is 1.25 kms long, it is a semi-artificial lake. Drive from Darjeeling to Mirik is via natural forest & tea garden. The main tourist area, Krishna-Nagar, is south of the lake. A 10-minute walk takes you to Bokar Gompa, home to Mahayana monks. One can catch the sunrise and sunset from Rameetay Dara. Return to hotel. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 4

Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport (Approx. 93 kms, 3 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Bagdogra Airport to board flight or proceed to New Jalpaiguri station to board your train for your hometown. Holiday Concludes. Let’s stay in touch on Facebook\email and meet again on another memorable Holiday. See you soon!
